Delmar Gardens of Smyrna,
My dad was only in this facility for 11 days before his passing. He was well cared for, treated with respect and was able to pass in a facility that gave him dignity. We are grateful.
Sincerely,
Pam

Kaline and Team,
Thank you all for the exemplary care you gave my mother, JoAnn L., during her time in skilled nursing at Delmar Gardens. From her arrival in February until her passing on Christmas Day it seemed that everyone on the Delmar team cared deeply for her. You all made an effort to connect with her ‘colorful personality’ (an excellent phrase I borrow from you) and cater to her despite her inability to get out and engage due to her COPD and dementia.
Starting with Nicole and Rose at the front desk, to Dr. Mudiyala and Andrew T. to the nurses Susan N and Milkah M and the many aides and caregivers who bathed, changed and helped her, I felt to a person that each of you were committed to her well being. From Marie, ChiChi, Joan, Irene at Compassus, Ramona and countless others who I don’t know and can’t name, or inadvertently forgot, thank you for making her final days comfortable. She’s finally found her peace.
Thanks Kaline to you, Danielle, Andrea, Monet, the PT, maintenance, food, laundry and activities staffs for everything you did to make her and our time at Delmar as good as they could be.
I hope you’ll pass this note on to the many who gave of themselves to make her feel loved and cared for, in case we don’t get a chance to thank them in person. You are all great professionals – and even better people. We’ll remember you fondly.
Mike, Anita and Char
