Mission

Our Philosophy: Caring for Seniors with Love, Care and Understanding.

Mission Statement Preamble

Barbara and Henry instilled a feeling of family and love into each new facility, and each new staff member. Their philosophy of love, care, and understanding is the basis for Delmar Gardens’ success. It is the ingredient that has set the company apart from the rest and created the tremendous growth and success which Delmar Gardens started in 1965 and continues today.

When the late Barbara and Henry Grossberg founded the first Delmar Gardens Nursing Center in 1965, they began a tradition of excellence in skilled nursing care which has yet to be exceeded. Joining forces with the late Yetra and Israel Goldberg, Barbara and Henry made major contributions to skilled nursing care and senior living. Their dedication and devotion to caring for the elderly goes far beyond the beauty of each Delmar Gardens nursing center, retirement community and assisted living community; it is reflected in the care provided, in the warmth of the professional staff, in the services and amenities that are offered to residents.

Barbara and Henry have received national recognition for their innovative concepts, imaginative ideas, and major accomplishments in the field of skilled nursing care. Our Mission Statement is dedicated to the continuation of the ideals and philosophies of these visionaries.
