How do I know if I am ready for Private Services?
Private Services is for people who need just a little help or 24 hour care daily. Bathing, dressing, cooking, cleaning, or anything that will help someone stay safe and independent. It will give your loved one time to spend with you doing fun things. Back to Top
Can anyone make a referral to Private Services?
Yes. Our most frequent calls are from family members, clients, and health-care facilities. We are happy to answer any questions and begin the process of meeting with the client and families. Back to Top
Do we need a physician’s order to consult or evaluate the client?
No we do not. We can explain Private Services over the phone to anyone who calls. We will also come to a home, hospital, nursing facility or anywhere convenient for the clients and/or their families. There is no charge for us to come and explain our services. You will meet with a RN on the first visit and if you choose our services, the client will also have a nurse to talk to any time of the day. Back to Top
How many hours can we use Private Services?
We are available whenever you need us. We have no minimum; however, the more hours you use, the more affordable it is. Back to Top
What other services does Private Services provide?
Medication Management - A licensed nurse will come to your home and set up your medicines on a daily, weekly or monthly basis depending on your needs. This includes calling in refills to the pharmacy and doctor; talking to the doctor if the client is not feeling well or medicines are not being effective.
Case Management - A RN or Social Worker escort will come to your home to take you to any appointments (doctor, lawyer, hairdresser or just shopping) and help you assess what your needs are now and in the future. We will help with bill paying, grocery shopping, escorting to a wedding or party and just make life a little easier.
Bath Visits - We will come 1 to 7 days per week and help with bathing, showering, shaving, hair care, oral care, or dressing.
Sunrise Visits - We will come in the morning to do a bath visit, make your bed, fix a light breakfast, get your mail/paper and do a load of laundry for you.
Sunset Visits - We will come and do a mini bath, get you ready for bed, fix a light snack, tuck you in, set your table, and make coffee for the morning. We will then lock your doors and leave.
Hourly Nurse Aide Care - Helps with all activities of daily living, medical and non medical—bathing, toileting, safety, shopping, transportation, meal preparation, housekeeping, dressing changes, laundry and special care needs.
We service clients in their homes, children’s homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and retirement communities. Wherever your home is, we come to you. Our services are flexible, so please call and discuss your needs with us.
Reimbursement - Private Pay, Medicaid, Long Term Care Insurance, and Workman’s Compensation. Please Note: Our services are not covered by Medicare or HMO Insurances.
Delmar Gardens Private Services provides personalized medical or non-medical care similar to what is often provided by family members. We assist people who require and desire assistance with Activities of Daily Living. Services are provided anywhere someone needs them. Our services help the client remain independent in their home.
